Just asking aroundsoftware updates for the A6. I know there is a new Navigation SD card update for my vehicle, but I was wondering whether there is any updates to the existing MMI system and Bluetooth. I have a 2016 (66 Plate) Audi A6 2.0 TDI Ultra 190PS S-Tronic. On the MMI system, the version information is as follows; As above, my understanding is the sat nav between the dials is part of the technology pack which essentially is a different mmi system altogether to what you have I believe the facelift started from Sep 2014 onwards (64 plate onwards). Mines a 64 but a facelift and registered in November 2014.

Audi don't publish versions of the MMI software, and there is no information on Myaudi site. You will only find map updates on there if you still had a license to which you won't as the car is over 3 years old. Audi don't like updating the MMI system, as it's their view if it's not broken then they won't fix it!

Push the MMI scroll wheel to the left, it brings up a menu that says “MMI setup” and “System update.” Pick “System update.” 16) Pick SD1 (i.e. where you put your SD card) and press the MMI button to select. 17) The nav update will start and inform you of progress on the MMI screen. My update took about 20 minutes to load in my car.
Your Audi Connect won’t use too much data, though it is always best to go with an LTE (4G) SIM over a 3G one – 4G is faster. And right now, your best bet is AT&T – it is one of the only carriers in the US that supports Audi Connect’s specific radios. The carrier also has a bunch of great options too – from super cheap to premium
