I started buying KTM’s in 2014 when I bought a 1190 Adv R . and have owned over the years a 2016 Super Adventure T, 2019 790 Adventure R, a 2020 Super Adventure S , a 2011 1190 RC8R and a 2022 Super Duke EVO. I have never had an major issue’s with any of them totaling almost 100,000 miles between all of them. I love these bikes.

Excess amount of oil in the engine. When using a thin type of oil (low viscosity). Always ensure that if the cause of your engine consuming a lot of oil is a bent engine vent hose
